Truus: I originally wrote this lyric for a song with a bagpipe accompaniment, never really used it. When I heard the music Joop and Toon came up with, it just fit like a glove. The lyric talks about the struggle of always being there for your lover, especially as a woman you have to be in the mood and feel a connection or it won’t happen.
Toon: I suggested Truus to add to the lyrics ‘my mood for me’ and ‘your mood for you’ as one has to connect to oneself before being able to connect to somebody else. I’m happy she did.
